These are multi-sport activities of running, biking and swimming held on a weekly basis held generally in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. In addition, the Club’s coaching sponsor, 226 Coaching, provide the members with discounted special training brick sessions, simulated race conditions, time trials, Ironman clinics, beginner sessions, personalised training programs and specialised training camps. What other races are happening?

  • NSW Club Championships. Facilitated by Triathlon NSW, club members participate in six open race events for which points are given for overall and age groups. Awards are presented for placeholders each year. These events are organised for all clubs to participate in and are held throughout NSW. At the end of each season the points are tallied also on a club basis for the Annual Club Awards.  Members MUST be a member of Triathlon NSW to participate in these races.
  • ITU, Ironman, Half Ironman and other Race Events – there are a number of triathlon, and other multisport events held on a local, State, National and International basis. Members participate in these races based upon their own ability and race goals. It is the goal for the Club to be able to offer support to key club athletes attending major races. Also, many Coogee Triathlon Club members participate in events such as Blackmore’s Marathon, Ocean Swim Series, Express Glass Coogee Island Challenge, City-to-Surf marathon, Kurnell Series, TriShave Women’s Triathlon Festival, TriShave Triathlon Sprint Series – just to name a few!

We've created an Integrated Race Calendar for the season so it is an easy way for you to keep track of all they key events taking place.  You will need to check with organisers to find out the opening dates for registrations for these races as these vary greatly from race to race.

We post all key events on our Facebook page.  This helps our members find out who else from the Club will be going, members can co-ordinate transport and accommodation when needed, and meeting points can be agreed upon so that our members can keep in touch with those taking place in the same events.

For major events we provide options for group accommodation and transport.
